Happy Sabbath Church Family,
Today is Part 2 of "Never Stop Learning"-- Do things that are difficult, but not too difficult. Select activities with enough complexity to require problem solving, analysis, and creativity. But set goals in increments so you won't give up.
Moderately challenging activities, such as playing an instrument or reading, help build your cognitive reserve, improving your brain's ability to cope with changes and cognitive decline.
Your mental computer has 2.5 petabytes. Your brain can store the equivalent of 3 millions hours of videos, which would play for 300 years before running out of storage. 42% of adults aged 45 and older consider themselves lifelong learners. What's hard for your brain is good for your brain.
Learning can be fun: Doing puzzles or having a game night stimulates your brain and helps you stay sharp.
Philippians 4:9: "Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me or seen in me--put into practice. And the God of peace will be with you."
What we learn we can share with others.
Blessings,
Sandra Jackson
