Health Message (February 07, 2026)

Good Sabbath Church,

Ellen G. White saw the Seventh-Day Adventist health message as absolutely central to the church’s identity and mission—not a side topic, not optional, but a God-given means to prepare people spiritually, physically, and mentally for Christ’s return. Her writings make this point repeatedly and with remarkable intensity.

Why is the message so important? Health Reform Is Part of the Gospel Sister White taught that the health message is the “right arm of the gospel”.

She meant that health reform opens doors for spiritual truth. When people feel better, think more clearly, and trust those who care for their physical needs, they become more receptive to spiritual teaching.

- Caring for the body is part of caring for the whole person.

- Medical missionary work softens hearts and builds trust.

- Health Reform Prepares People for the Last Days**

Ellen White believed that the final crisis would require physical stamina, mental clarity, and spiritual strength. The health message was meant to help God’s people develop habits that support self -control, endurance, and faithfulness.

2 Thessalonians 2:13-14

“But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

May God Bless Your Journey to Good Health,

Sandra Torres
